01Who operates this site

This site is operated as Vocal Range Test. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@vocalrangetests.com.

02Microphone audio and test results

Microphone audio is processed locally in your browser to estimate pitch and signal quality. It is not recorded, saved, or uploaded by Vocal Range Test. Raw audio is kept only in short-lived browser memory while the current frame is analyzed.

Your detected notes, frequencies, and calculated range remain in the current page session. They are cleared when you restart or refresh the test and are not sent to our analytics.

03Information we do not request

• No account, password, or user profile.
• No name, email submission, payment information, contact list, or precise location.
• No raw audio recording or voiceprint.
• No AI model processes your microphone data or results.

04Hosting and analytics data

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and may process ordinary request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, approximate region, timestamps, and security logs as part of delivering and protecting the service.

On the production domain, Google Analytics measures page views, referral and device information, approximate region, engagement, and a small allowlist of test lifecycle event names. Microsoft Clarity provides aggregate interaction insights such as page navigation, scrolling, clicks, heatmaps, and session replay on the public informational parts of the page.

The microphone test container is excluded from Clarity recording. We do not send microphone audio, pitch, note, MIDI, cents, range, signal measurements, microphone settings, tester IDs, names, or email addresses to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity.

05How information is used

Technical request and analytics information is used to deliver the site, understand whether the test flow works, diagnose aggregate compatibility problems, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Vocal Range Test does not sell personal information or use microphone data for advertising or AI training.

06Cookies and analytics identifiers

Vocal Range Test does not use application cookies for accounts, advertising, or saved results. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use analytics cookies or similar identifiers, including _ga, _ga_*, _clck, and _clsk, depending on your browser, region, consent state, and privacy settings.

You can block or clear analytics storage in your browser. You may also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site does not intentionally use advertising cookies.

08Retention

Vocal Range Test does not retain microphone audio or test results on a server. Browser-held measurements last only for the active page session. Cloudflare request data, Google Analytics data, and Microsoft Clarity data are retained according to the applicable service settings, account controls, and provider policies.

09Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. You may also have the right to complain to a local data-protection authority. Because the tool has no accounts and does not store test results, we may hold little or no information that can be linked back to you.

Send a request to privacy@vocalrangetests.com. We may need enough information to locate a relevant hosting or analytics record without collecting more than necessary.

10International processing

Cloudflare, Google, and Microsoft may process technical service or analytics data in multiple countries as part of their global networks. Applicable safeguards and transfer mechanisms are described in each provider’s privacy documentation.

11Children

The site is a general-audience voice measurement tool and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly request contact details, accounts, or saved voice recordings from children.

12Security

The production site uses HTTPS. Keeping audio processing in the browser and avoiding accounts, passwords, payments, and server-stored results reduces the amount of sensitive information exposed to the service.

13Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material product changes that affect microphone or data handling must be reflected in this policy before release.
